To illustrate the concept of family, body, and/or community to our membership, we had three volunteers play a quick game of "Operation" in front of the congregation. The nose flashing, the buzzer sounding, the nerves of the players all got lots of laughs from the congregation.
We made the connection that often times we need each other to "operate" in our lives as a church. When we're hurting, or messing up, or simply lonely we need the healing touch of the Holy Spirit through his people.
