True story:

Two friends found an army cargo chute in good condition. After seeing people parasailing behind boats they decided to attempt the same thing but with a jeep in an empty field. Now cargo chutes have no steering gear as do parasails (crates of supplies have no arms). So they would have no way to steer once they got airborne. Friend #1 decided to attempt the feat first and tied himself off to the jeep. He actually made it about 10 feet in the air when the chute swung him around in a huge arc and slammed him into the ground. The chute still had air in it and lifted him up and slammed him again. This time friend #2 stops the jeep and runs to check on his buddy, who amazingly enough had only superficial bruise and scrapes. This in itself is not quite as amazing as what friend #2 then said: "Ok, now you drive and it is my turn!"
